_bm46 Adjusting Settings of AnyCount Engine

In Settings window you can adjust count settings for each of the selected files formats. It can be either:

.DOC, .RTF (Microsoft Word for Windows, Microsoft Word for Macintosh, other word processors), WPD (Word Perfect). More...
.XLS (Microsoft Excel). More...
.CSV (Microsoft Excel, other spreadsheet software). More...
.PPT, .PPS (Microsoft PowerPoint). More...
.HTM, .HTML (Hypertext Markup Language file format). More...
.XML (Extensible Markup Language file format). More...
.MIF (Maker Interchange Format, Adobe FrameMaker). More...
.PDF (Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Acrobat reader). More...
.TXT (various word processors). More...
.ODT, .SDW, .SXW (OpenOffice text formats).
.ODS, .SDC, .SXC (OpenOffice spreadsheets formats).
.ODP, .SDD, .SXI (OpenOffice presentation formats).
.HLP, .CHM (Microsoft Online Help formats).

New functions, Skip Numbers, Show Full Path and Force re-count of previously counted files are available from Common tab of Settings window:

When Skip Numbers check box is selected, on Count! button click AnyCount produces additional count omitting numbers in the documents. Subtotal result without numbers is displayed in the bottom right part of Count Result window:

and on Summary tab, of Count Result window, if files of different formats were counted:

When Show Full Path check box is selected, AnyCount displays not only file name, but also the full pass to its location. Compare:

Show Full Path check box is selected:

full pass

 

Show Full Pass check box is cleared:

no full pass

From Settings window you can either click Count! button and start processing of selected files and files of selected folders or return to file selection by clicking on Files button:
