JPG format is used to save compressed images according to standard developed by Joint Photographic Experts Group. JPG format is most commonly used to store photographs and images. Compressing file to JPG may lead to a loss of clarity of image.

AnyCount can count image files due to built-in Optical Character Recognition (OCR) module. Image files which contain image data are converted to text data when performing recognizing process. Before counting image files, ensure that you select target language for recognition with the help of Recognition Language drop-down list.
