Menu bar of AnyCount contains the following menus and commands:

 

Files Menu

Add - this command opens AnyCount file manager window (Add Files window).
Remove - removes currently selected files from the list of added files.
Clear - removes all files from the list of added files.
Exit - closes AnyCount.

 

Settings Menu

Contains language sub-menu and format items, corresponding to each file format:

Language - allows to choose GUI language.
List of file formats to configure specific count settings.

[P] character next to a menu item indicates that this format is unavailable only in AnyCount Professional Edition and above.

[S] character next to a menu item indicates that this format is available only in AnyCount Enterprise Edition and above.

Settings of each format will be opened in a new window.

 

Count! Menu

Clicking this menu will initiate the count procedure.

 

Results Menu

Copy to Clipboard - this command copies currently opened results table to clipboard, so that it can be pasted into an external document by pressing Ctrl+V keys on your keyboard.
Export - this command opens another menu with the following items:

CSV - export current count results to a comma-separated values file.

DOC - export current count results to a MS Word file.

HTML - export current count results to a HTML file.

PDF - export current count results to a PDF file.

RTF - export current count results to a reach text format file.

TXT - export current count results to a plain text file.

XLS - export current count results to a MS Excel spreadsheet file.

Print - this command opens the printer settings window.

 

Invoicing Menu (available in Enterprise Edition only)

Clients - opens the Clients window which can be used to add or edit clients for invoicing.
Currencies - opens the Currencies window which can be used to add or edit currencies for invoicing.
Templates - opens the folder in which invoice templates are stored.
Invoices - opens the default folder in which invoices are saved.

 

Help Menu

AnyCount Help - opens this help file.
AnyCount on the Web - opens www.anycount.com in your default web browser.
Technical Support - click to contact AnyCount support team.
AnyCount Newsletter - sign-up for AnyCount newsletter.
Check for Updates - check if a newer build or version of AnyCount is available.
System and Locale Info - click to collect a summary of your computer, including hardware, operating system and locale settings. This information may be requested by AnyCount support in order to resolve possible technical issues.
Register/Upgrade - enter AnyCount online activation code.
About AnyCount - a brief summary of your AnyCount current build number and license type.
