AnyCount is advanced software designed to count characters, words and lines in all common file formats. It supports 36 file formats. For details on supported formats, please refer to Supported File Formats topic. Count procedure consists of four steps:
Click Add button and select necessary files or folders with files for counting. Alternatively - right-click the required file in Windows Explorer and click Add to AnyCount and Count command in the context menu.
After the files have been selected, you can set count settings for each of the selected file formats. This can be done by clicking Settings button in the main window of AnyCount. More about adjusting settings...
Select count units: characters with or without spaces, words, lines, pages. You can also create your own custom count units.
Click Count! button to start counting selected files. Count results will be displayed in the table located on the corresponding tab for each file format. Summary table can be displayed by selecting Summary tab. |
