STL is one of two subtitling formats used by the Spruce DVD Maestro DVD authoring software. The original software has already been discontinued, but the format is still supported by subtitle editors like ViPlay and Subtitle Workshop Link: ViPlay Subtitle Workshop

Word, Character, Line Counts for STL files

Anycount will always count subtitle text in STL files. Optionally, you may also enable it to count the timecodes, formatting and descriptions found in the file.

When counting of .STL files is completed, you can:

view count results on the screen;
print count results;
export count results to .HTML, .DOCX, or .PDF formats.
